Lighthouse started in our pastor's home in October 2022 with a small group of people (40) seeking a greater understanding of God's Word, we have since grown out of space and now meet at Kids Spot in Roscoe, where will be continue to be a courageous church willing to say what needs to be said and do what needs to be done. We are a church willing to accept the consequences of our biblical worldview at a time when many others have become complicit or complacent toward this "woke" culture. We have chosen not to be ashamed of having a bias toward biblical values and seek to exist to uphold unchanging biblical truth that will break the powers of darkness, transforms lives, and equip the church to stand as the salt and light of the earth. If you are looking for this kind of church, we would love for you to join us on the adventure!
We are passionate about shining the light of Jesus Christ to our community and world. Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." John 8:12 We strive to know Christ more and to share His Gospel.
To be a beacon of light drawing the lost, hurting, and disillusioned into the safe harbor of God's love and salvation.
As the pastor and shepherd, as Paul instructed Timothy, it is my responsibility before God, to instruct the people in "all scripture which is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work" 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
I am committed to shepherd all in my care by serving, caring, praying for them, and protecting them equipping them for the various attacks associated with being a Christ-follower in today's culture.
